Pregnancy Countdown

I am really not in the mood to think of clever post titles today. :)

In pregnancy news, the countdown has begun! Only 33 more days until my little girl's estimated due date. I am really not into taking personal belly shot pictures, so this is as good as it gets. The 8th month of pregnancy has literally BLOWN UP my belly. Kind of insane. Just a few weeks ago I was about to still wear my pre-pregnancy jeans, not comfortably or anything, but still, and NOW, now there is a good 4 inch gap between the jeans button and hole if I were to try to button them up. Hello comfy yoga pants and big maternity tees!

Oh, and some big news, WE PICKED A NAME!!

I am keeping it a secret till she is born though. The name we ended up with was one that had been a favorite of mine from the get go, and no matter what other name was suggested that was perfectly nice, I just couldn't see her named as anything else. My husband picked out the middle name and left the first name all up to me. What a great guy huh? He lets me do whatever I want.

Congratulations on the impending birth of your daughter!
I am 41 years old and 6 1/2 months pregnant with my first baby (a girl for my husband and I too!)

I am finally starting to look pregnant instead of just FAT! HAHA!

Good luck to you and I hope your pug feels better soon!

hahah -- I so know what you mean about finally looking pregnant instead of just fat. :) Been there sister friend. ;)

Good luck on your switch from the working world to being a stay at home mama! It has been a big adjustment for us to go from two incomes to one. A lot of sacrifices to be made, but so worth it in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by my site!

What a cute belly bump! Congrats. You're almost there, and I can tell you're super excited. Hope the pug feels better soon. Stumpy was sick with some similar sounding problems recently..his pretty unexplained too, but he's all better now.

The sandwich looks yummy, but I'd feel uber guilty after eating something so

You look adorable! I love big preggie bellies! The food looks scrumptious too. Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch, I feel bad. But it's good to know that you're doing well.

I've never read that cooking blog, yours is the only cooking blog I But, I was raised eating that sandwich! My grandma makes them in a cast iron pan as most southern grandma's do. And the only different is they are served on big thick pieces of toasted white bread..sort of like texa toast without the color stuff.

Other than that, it's the exact recipe. I should email you a bunch of the her recipes that were handed down..

Oh, and I went to elegant farmer last night and of course I thoughto of you. They had these awesome PB things like buckeyes only they were HUGE and we got the berried treasure cobbler. Hmmmm

I had never been in there and I only spent 30 mins because I was in a hurry, but I need to go back. That place had some yummmmmmy looking stuff.

I can't wait to hear what names you picked out for her! That sandwich looks so good, that I think I'm going to have to make it, too. Kiss Stewie for me and tell him to get well. He has big brother duty soon and will need all his energy to supervise little sis!
