Enough already. I baked.

What do you do when you feel like something festive and don't want to put in any effort? You make cupcakes from a spiced cake mix. I mixed in canned pumpkin puree with premade frosting and topped with gingerbread men sprinkles from Crate&Barrel. Tada. Tell your friends.

I've had no internet access for a month now, but I did check your site on my cell phone every day for the good news. I've been celebrating from afar! Congrats on Violet... what a dote, as they say here.

I can't believe you're baking already. You go girl! ;-)

I'm going to send you an email later...

I bet Violet will want to lick the beaters and frosting off the spoon when she gets older! Gosh! just think you will have a lil helper in the kitchen soon!

Mmmmm, I like the gingerbread men, too. In fact, I like spice cake. I even dug out our old Better Homes & Garden Cookbook (the red-checked one?) and looked up caramel frosting... and MADE it. Sinful... but oh, MAN is that good!!
